Adult Sunday Schools and Fellowship Groups
 
Please browse the list of classes below.  If a class sounds interesting, just drop by - you'll be warmly welcomed.  If you'd like to learn more about what group might fit you best, don't hesitate to email our Christian Education Director, Cindy Russell.  Other adult classes and Bible studies are offered throughout the year, including women's studies on Wednesday mornings and evenings, Advent studies, and Lenten studies.
 
You may also be interested in our adult fellowship groups, or our teams focused on volunteering, like our very active United Methodist Women and United Methodist Men organizations.
 
 
 
10:00 a.m. Classes
Fellowship Class (S-6):  This class prides itself on diversity in age and life experiences. With a common bond of love of God and each other, they study a wide of range of topics with active class participation.

Bob Millett Class (W-2): This caring group of 50-plus year olds studies a variety of topics taught by members of the class along with
singing, praise, and prayer requests.  Small groups meet quarterly for warm socials. 

George Martin Class (W-1): A large class of mature adults who think young with a spirit of sharing and giving, participating in many outreach projects and holding social events, and using a lectionary-based curriculum.

Open Door Class (S-8):  Welcomes adults of all ages, stages, and backgrounds who enjoy questioning and discussing issues and ideas of faith in an atmosphere of caring fellowship. Includes both singles and couples.

Trinity Class (S-7):  This class is comprised of 35-plus year olds. The lessons are biblically based and discussion oriented. The class actively takes care of each other and has lots of fun.

Christian Action Class (S-5):  A fun and active group of 45-plus year olds enjoys lively group discussions and pursues a wide variety of lessons. Several social activities are planned throughout the year.

Friendly Forum (S-4): 
The 50-plus group uses a varied curriculum along with singing, fellowship, and study.  The studies are led by Joe Whalen, using lecture followed by discussion.

Friends in Faith (Resource Room): 
A mixture of young adults in different life stages, this group supports and encourages each other, studies the Bible, and volunteers their talents, developing close friendships.  Class discussion format is led by different members of the class.  

New Horizons (S-3):  Adults of varied ages participate in various mission projects and have social activities.  An informal, friendly group that loves to include new members.
 
Adult Singles Class(S-9):  Terry Horton will be leading a new class for adults who happen to be single, and he promises there will always be learning, laughter and DONUTS!
